  1. I’ve been cooking from Elena’s book for nearly a year now and really appreciate the wealth of information about the Mediterranean lifestyle, as it has become moreso than just a diet! While I also love the simplicity of all her delicious recipes (Greek Chicken and Potatoes is a family favorite!), where the book really shines for me, is in the examples of two week meal plans. I haven’t found this in other Mediterranean diet cookbooks I own, and I own several. It’s so helpful to have an easy guideline of sorts when starting any new diet and Elena has done a fantastic job of laying the groundwork so one can quickly implement the Mediterranean lifestyle! The book and her website are my go-to references for all things Mediterranean!
